We have received many inquiries concerning how an individual may become involved with, or a member of OPHIR, so we are introducing “Associates” and “Affiliates” programs; both of which will make it possible for the public to interact with and become active within OPHIR. This allows individuals who are interested in becoming involved with the group to do so in stages and according to their own level of comfort and interest.
|
Members of the Affiliates Program pay a $30.00 per year charitable donation to the group, for which they shall receive:
- An official OPHIR lanyard and badge
|
- A discount on all OPHIR Gear such as hats, T-shirts and other promotional goods
|
|
- Access to the members only section of OPHIR’s site which allows for closer interaction with group members in the forum, access to non-publicized photos and video, as well as info about upcoming investigations and activities before they are made available to the public.
|
- Affiliates will also have the ability to post details of your own personal paranormal experiences and much more…

The Associate’s Program is tiered, and divided into four parts or levels tailored for, and geared toward public involvement and membership. These four tiers are the Street Team, the Research Team, Associate Members and Team Members. Here is a brief description of the duties and criteria for each in succession.
- The Street Team’s main functions is to help with the distribution of promotional material for upcoming OPHIR events such as speaking engagements, appearances, meet and greets etc. Members of the Street Team members also direct, assist and greet the public at venues and other public OPHIR events and appearances.
- The Research Team is comprised of individuals who: a) have a background in research or b) Street Team members who have shown to have the right temperament and disposition to advance into the research team and work more closely on group projects and perhaps progress into learning proper use of the equipment used on investigations… Research team members may also be invited from time to time to accompany the Team to visit a site and talk with occupants/owners of a proposed investigation site.
- Associate Members team is comprised of: a) Independent, outside individuals who specialize in a particular area of service relevant to our client’s needs such as clergy (for those in need of traditional, religious council) and those claiming to have clairvoyant or intuitive abilities. Associate team members may be called upon from time to time to assist clients who have special or particular needs or requests a service such as a cleansing, readings or spirit release. We work with local religious and spiritual leaders/groups from all faiths and spiritual paths in order to assist our clients. B) Associate Members are also individuals who have progressed from the Street and Research Teams who are now being trained or exposed to investigative techniques and locations.
- Team Members are the actual investigative body of OPHIR who go out, meet clients, and represent the group publicly. There is also a “Core” group within the Team that is comprised of members who serve on OPHIR’s Board of Directors.
The associate program is application/interview only. If you are interested in joining OPHIR as an associate, please contact us via the link below. |
